Matt Hanson’s Brain Archive
Here’s a couple set of pics taken in September. We went over to Portland to visit my mother one weekend. I finally got some good pictures of Kaley with her. Then Kim’s uncle Keith (Tarleton) and family came over one saturday to see the new house and we had a BBQ. It was also the last day we used the pool, which was a steamy 68 degrees…brrr.
For my Mom’s 60th Birthday we had a brunch at The Harraseeket Inn, a truly fantastic restaurant. The brunch was simply amazing and we had great company with my Mom’s family and close friends.
Leaving Kaley with relatives for the first time (for a whole weekend) Kim and I trekked off to Rochester, NY for Stephen Douglas’ wedding to. Who would have ever thought that an ardent follower of such bands like Queensryche, Whitesnake and Dokken would have fell in love with a normal, lovely young woman? Well Cheers to you both. It was a good time.
Charmingfare farm is a petting zoo located in Candia, NH. I’m not a big zoo fan but it was a good time. Kaley got to see a bunch of animals and a lot of time hanging out in the goat pen. One of them tried to eat my shirt! They also had some bears, fisher cats (not as ugly as I thought) and some Lynx (what’s plural for Lynx?). The Lynx growled at us and barred it’s teeth!
L.L. Bean hosts a series of concerts in the park in the summer. We went to the last one of the season…C.J. Chenier is one of the finest zydeco musicians today and it was a great concert. I’ve been a big fan of zydeco for a while. Check out these pictures I got towards the end when I got up front and center.
