New Camera Time
July was filled with lots of people coming to visit us in our new house. Family, cousins, friends, all came to see the house, go swimming, and have BBQ’s. This was also about the time I got my new digital SLR camera (Nikon D70) so I had fun playing with that.

The Bear Brook Rats
Starting a couple years ago we started going camping at Bear Brook (state park east in Allenstown, NH) for a long weekend in July. We had a good time this year with everyone. Kim’s aunt and cousins (Flanagans) were also there as were the Belangers. To make things even better I got in some great mountain biking while there.

The Island of Frye
Our friend Bob Burbank has a family camp on Frye Island, in the center of Sebago Lake in Maine. He now has a baby boy, Robert Burbank III, whom they call Tre. We went up for a night to visit. The island is a peaceful place and we had a good time visiting with the Burbanks and meeting some new people.

Boring trip and boring pictures
I had just gotten my new digital Nikon D70 when I had to travel to (my employer) PRA’s office in Port Jefferson for a meeting about PRA’s acqusitiion by Raytheon, which has since been completed. It’s a nice ride down to Port Jefferson on Long Island. We take the Cross Sound Ferry from New London, CT to Orient Point, NY. It’s a nice ride on the ferry and a nice drive down Long Island so I took my camera to test out it’s new capabilities. The pictures are very boring.

It’s a BBQ Christmas
Here are some pictures of yet another BBQ we had in July (because lots of people coming to see the new house), but I took a lot of pictures at this one in particular because I had just gotten my new camera.
