A newborn via corrected age
At the end of January Kaley was 2 months old but by her corrected age she was considered a newborn. She reached 8 lbs by the end of the month, twice her original birth weight. Kim was thrown a baby shower but unfortunately there are no pictures of it. Kaley did not go because for these first couple months we have to be more careful with exposure to germs.
At the beginning of February we took Kaley on her trip to Portland to see her grandmother. There are pictures of that weekend and also of a visit from Kim’s cousin Laurie who is also pregnant.

Per usual it’s beeen a busy few months, mostly centered around the birth of our baby girl on Nov 25, 2002! It was certainly an experience with her being 7 weeks premature and a subsequent 7 week stay in the hospital. Everything is turning out fine now however, read all about it and see the pictures in the Kaley galleries. We also had the 2nd Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest which some of you voted on pumpkins for. I’ve added not only the photos for showing which pumpkins go with who, but also the photos from the whole Weekend of the Pumpkin 2002. I’ve also wrapped up the 2002 galleries with misc summer photos, a wedding of one of Kim’s cousins, Kim’s stay at the hospital, the Goffstown Pumpkin Regatta, a cyclo-cross race at Wasserman Park, Christmas Day, and another wedding of friends. All in all, I’ve added 508 photos in 15 new galleries in the Picture Pages. We did not have a New Years party this year so I have no pictures of that usual event. Kim and I just spent the day with Kaley at the hospital, then watched some movies at home. Due to lack of photos I have yet to start the galleries for 2003.
Our lives have centered around Kaley’s birth and subsequent stay in the hospital so there is little other news. I have continued on with school and have decied to take two classes next quarter (starting in March) so that I will be graduating (from RIT) in May. It was either that or wait to take my last class sometime next year. I will be glad to get it done with, it will be three years in all. I’ve learned a lot and it’s been great but I will be glad to be done. In addition to spending time with Kaley I want to get in lots of cycling this summer and hope to do lots of scanning of old photos to build on the website.
