The great pumpkin regatta
Once again I have lapsed longer then I wanted to in doing an update. Such is the way things are. Taking two classes last quarter was time consuming to say the least. I finished up before Thanksgiving, but then it was the holidays of course (and the start of another class). And then at the end of January, Kim and I closed on the house we’ve been living in. So what updates have I made? Of course over the past several months I have made continual changes to my Imaging Science page adding stuff for school. I also added some movies to my Interests page. In the Picture Pages section, under 2001 I added pics of the Great Pumpkin Carve-Off between Kim and I, the Goffstown Pumpkin Regetta, and Thanksgiving and Christmas. I’ve also started off 2002 with New Years pictures.
All in all it’s a mere 256 images, but all that I can do for right now until I start hosting my own site. I have a lot more to add but have a problem with webspace. I am currently paying for webspace which can get expensive for a lot of it (which is what I need). The only hosting companies offering the amount of space I will eventually need are geared toward business. After all how many home websites use 1 GB of space? (currently I’m at nearly 300 MB but I am planning on tripling that within a year). The only option I have is to put together and serve the site myself, another project which will no doubt be delayed. I hope to do something in the next couple months but it is more realistic to try and get somethind done by the end of this upcoming summer. Until next time, ciao.
