Matt Hanson’s Brain Archive
We had our first annual Pumpkin Carve off this year, though it was only Kim and myself. We had votes on the website between Wacky Eyes (my pumpkin) and Toothy (Kim’s). Toothy won. It sure was a nice looking pumpkin (Toothy is the one of the left). Next year we’ll be opening it up to anyone who wants to fight for the title of “PUMPKIN MASTER”.
A few years ago Goffstown started this thing where they would carve out giant pumpkins, attach a motor and race them down the river. Racing is perhaps the wrong word - these things aren’t too speedy, and often don’t move in a straight line. I meant to take a few in black and white but evidently left it in that mode so most of them were taken as such.

It’s been a long time since my last update. I just tried to do too much stuff this summer, and now am taking two Masters classes. I have been making updates this month regularly to my Imaging Science page - mostly adding links I have been finding during the course of my classes. I also moved the computer related stuff to it’s own Computer Science page.
I decided I better get some photos up soon though. I made some layout changes to the Picture Pages to organize things a little better and to add a thumbnail photo as a representative of each gallery. I also made some changes to directory names and didn’t bother putting in redirectors so broke any outside links to the Pictures. If you find any broken links, on this site or from outside sites linking here, email me to let me know
For photos this time I have added almost three hundred: some photos from Junior High and High School I got from Jarrett, in the High School gallery. I’ve also added a bunch of photos my Dad took from 1973-1979, in the Childhood gallery. Most of the photos have been added in the 2001 gallery - a sailing trip, a day trip to Billings Farm, and my 10th year High School reunion, both the weekend and the reunion itself. Then, in August, we had a family reunion at a camp near Skowhegan, ME. And finally I have a handful of photos from Kevin T.’s birthday when we had a BBQ and some beers. I would really like to add a lot more photos soon, but it will require a lot of scanning and I’m not sure when I will get some time to do that. Unfortunately it may not happen until the end of my current classes which is at Thanksgiving.
