Baby on the way !
It’s been over half a year since I’ve made even a small addition to the Picture Pages and nearly a year since any significant update. Of course, the website has not been completely stagnant as I’ve made continuous changes to the Imaging Science and Computer Science pages. Several months ago I did end up finding a new web host which very easily solved my webspace issues. Webmanixhosting offers me far greater space (1GB) with a cost for a year what I was paying every 2 months. They offer all the typical features that most people would use.
I’ve been wanting to make some changes to the picutre galleries. Adding pictures was too cumbersome, requiring quite a bit of manual work to create a gallery with the graphics. Not to mention the fact that making a change to all the galleries was nearly impossible (each one needed to be changed individually). So I took the opportunity to learn PHP, and recoded the Picture Pages in such a way that adding galleries is very easy and streamlined. It enabled me to easily add all the photos that I had digitized but had not turned into galleries yet.
So, what’s the bottom line? I’ve added 1,800 photos for a grand total of 4,453 in 87 galleries. I also recreated the previous galleries from my original pictures so some of the older galleries have photos added here and there. Check out the main Picture Pages to peruse all the new changes - new galleries have been added in nearly all the sections especially for 2002, Legacy, and Childhood. Also I finally fixed my Guestbook, so take a new look and sign it if you never have…or sign it again if you wish.
In addition to all this, Kim is now about 5 months pregnant with a due date of Jan 13. Stay tuned for lots of photos regarding that come the new year!

Drinks in Black and White
Andy, Jarrett, and I went over to Kevin and Lori’s house after work to have a BBQ and some drinks for Kevin’s birthday.
