No Colors
These pictures are also of before and after the ceremony and reception. These black and whites were again taken by Steve. Some of the shots are taken with what is called a Drag Shutter. Personally I find some drag shutter shots pleasing but some of them I find them a bit harsh. There are a few that I really like however. Check it out.
The Dancing (and the Bathing Suit)
These are miscellaneous pictures of the reception and into the night taken by Kevin Tibbetts, Judy Campbell, Shannon Burnell, and Jody Coppinger, among others. The reception went on into the night, with plenty of dancing and fun for all. We had to shut the music off at 10 PM due to recent noise complaints from neighbors. We had a few boisterous people that caused a cop to show up around midnight. Unfortunately we didn’t get a picture of him in his jeans. He was a good sport. Then there was the Shop and Save bag incident . . .
The Vows
These are pictures that other people took during the ceremony, mostly taken by Kevin Tibbetts, Judy Campbell, Shannon Burnell, and Jody Coppinger.
The Prep
The wedding consisted of the entire weekend. Family and friends showed up on Friday and we had the rehearsal dinner, Saturday during the day, and Sunday morning. The Inn was a great place as it allowed everyone to relax there for the entire time. These pictures are of the rest of the weekend outside of the ceremony and reception. Most (if not all) of these pictures were taken by my brother Brian’s girlfriend Shannon. Thanks Shannon!
The Colors
Some pictures before, during, and after the ceremony, into the reception. These pictures were also taken by Stephen, and were cross processed. This is a technique where slide film (normally an E-6 process) is shot as normal but processed as if it were negative film (a C-41 process). The result is unnatural yet soft colors. I like the look of them and think they came out great.
The Pictures
Our very kind friend Stephen took on the photographer role at our wedding. Just wanting to get some of the main formal pictures we let him do whatever else he wanted. I think they all came out great. These are the formal pictures.
